“Kamerian – Acid Porn” Museum of Porn in Art (Switzerland)

Kawaii goes evil - Kamerians first solo exhibition in Europe

“Acid Porn” KAMERIAN

Edi‘s Weinstube, Stüssihofstatt 14 in Zürich.
Der Künstler wird anwesend sein.

Ausstellung: 14. Oktober bis 6. Dezember 2017,
Mo.- Do. 11.00-24.00 Uhr, Fr. und Sa. 11.00-02.00 Uhr und So. 14.00-22.00 Uhr

Craww “Ebb and Flow”- Nero Gallery (Italy)

EBB AND FLOW – Craww solo show
From 6th may to 3th june 2017 · Opening party saturday 6th may at 8 p.m.

Nero Gallery is pleased to present “Ebb and Flow”, the first personal exhibition in Italy by the english artist Craww.

“Ebb and Flow” is a collection of paintings and drawings that focuses on the fascination with the ambiguities of nature and humanity. The artist investigates and recreates the woman’s view, representing her as a fairy creature, a Muse, sublimating and elevating her to a non-human dimension, but close to the divine.

“The Darker Room” – Gallery X (Ireland)

darkerroom‘The Darker Room’ is a group photographic exhibition by Irish and international photographers, both up and coming and well known. A collection of discomforting images, a mix of film and digital, these works of portraiture are united by a dark and mysterious mood as the artists engage shadow and darkness in tone, expression, style and mood.

We worked hard to bring you a mixture of styles so that there will be an image to speak to everyone, some beautiful yet decaying, some dark yet lovable, some soft yet strong, some that are still but that move. Darkness holds a special place in our hearts and in these artists’ lives and work. Without the dark, there would be no light and these photographers surely shine a light into a dark world, the darker room.

“BOUND AND EMBRACED” – Gallery X (Dublin Ireland)

The art and practice of ropes

Curated by Marco Carboni
7 – 14 January 2017
Preview on 06/01 @ 6PM
Shibari bondage workshop and performance on 07/01

Gallery X, 65 South William Street D2 (first floor)

Bondage plays with the tension between submission and free will; between pleasure and pain; between desire and power. Often confused with forms of abuse, it is in fact a complex game of permissions and boundaries, of demands and compliance, that goes both ways. The “master” is not always the master, and the “bottom” is not always at the bottom of the relationship. If I tell you to tie me up, who is in charge? Acts which place consenting participants in such a hierarchical relationship can still be taboo in our equality-obsessed world, indeed they can be an intriguing metaphor for our society, in which so many happily accept and seek to be guided and dominated by the rich and powerful.
